Cleary Bikes says...

Your little one has broken free of their training wheels, and after dozens of encounters with the ground and the garage floor, their old bike has seen better days. Not to mention that they've outgrown it. You'll be able to watch their confidence and coordination skills grow each day as they upgrade to Cleary Bikes' Owl 20in Single Speed Kids' Bike. Careful construction and reliable components combine to create a bike that is ready to accompany little rippers and future stars from the driveway to the bike path and all of the locales they'll pass in between. The Owl frame is built to adapt to multi-terrain adventures, and its geometry was fine-tuned to center young riders' weight between the bar and the saddle to create a bike that would be responsive and stable in a wide range of conditions. The reinforced steel fork also helps to establish solid, dependable steering, even when the bike veers into enticing terrain off-road. Cleary takes away the threat of tangling cables by integrating the Owl's front and rear brake cables internally, which is not something we see often on youth frames. It's a feature we're sure riders still getting the hang of cycling coordination will appreciate. Compared to Cleary Bikes' other offerings, the Owl features larger grips, handlebars, and brake levers than the Starfish and Gecko balance bike models. It also best fits young adventurers with an inseam measurement between 20 and 27in, and unlike Cleary's Meerkat model, gives young riders the chance to master their bike handling skills before introducing the concept of shifting and gear ratios.
